Pharos License Retrieval

In order to get your Pharos license, you will need to know your customer system operating number or site code. If you are not sure what this is or how to look it up, please contact your server administrator or TRACSYSTEMS Support.

Step 1: Get Your Login ID

Retrieve your login information and login instructions by filling in the fields below, entering the two words of the CAPTCHA challenge (hit the refresh , and then clicking the "Retrieve Logon Info" button.

Step 2: Install the WinSCP 4.0.5 Client

Once you have retrieved your login ID, additional information will appear. Click the WinSCP 4.0.5 link to download & install a free SFTP client you can use to retrieve your license. Follow the onscreen instructions and help graphic for additional login assistance.

Step 3: Apply Your PHAROS License

Once you have logged in to the FTP server with the login ID provided in Step 1, download your Pharos license zip file to a folder of your choice, extract the contents of the zip file, and then click on the "PharosLicense_Readme.htm" documentation file and follow the instructions inside.

Instructions: Applying Your New License: Once you download the zip file containing your license (see instructions below), you will see 3 files inside.
1) The registry file will be used to enter the license information into the registry in a later step.
2) The text file is strictly for easy viewing of the license details.
3) PharosLicense_Readme.htm contains full instructions on how to install the license.
Click the following image for help in configuring WinSCP:
WinSCP Config Field #1 Enter the ftp server name/address (ftp.tracsystems.com).
WinSCP Config Field #2 Enter your license login username ().
WinSCP Config Field #3 Enter your license login password ().
WinSCP Config Field #4 Click the black triangle on the right to get the pulldown, then highlight and select FTP. If your version of WinSCP does not have FTP listed, please download the newer version (WinSCP 4.0.5 Installer).
WinSCP Config Field #5 The port number should have changed to 21. If it did not, please change it to 21.
